Difference between blue and orange interactions

< Back

Have you noticed that the interactions are divided into two sections? Any idea why?

Blue interactions

Here’s the thing: the blue interactions in the top row have something to do with the course of the video. They cause a pause or a jump on the timeline.

Orange interactions

The bottom interactions (orange) are different. These interactions are shown on the ‘top layer’ of the video, so to speak. The video will continue to play when showing an inserted image or text field instead of pausing or jumping, as with the blue interactions.

One second between blue interactions

Because the videos are streamed from online platforms, we recommend keeping one second on the timeline between the blue interactions. Click here to read more about timing your interactions.
